Wow what can I say ? When you pull into this property you get the sense that your in a resort. Ground immaculately kept Very lush and green. Checking in was a breeze and out spot was overlooking a fountain and a pond. Also included is an outdoor fireplace and a large patio where you can sit and watch the sunset. A short walk to the fitness club and laundry also with private bathrooms and showers , also very clean.
Spaces were pricey but worth it ! I think we will be back next year for a longer stay

Very well maintained campground, nicely landscaped and very clean. Its about 20 mins away from downtown Traverse. The sites are mostly privately owned that just gets rented out and only a handful vacancies . It is mostly occupied by campsite owners who lives there and mostly retirees, thus you don't see any children around playing. No charcoal allowed, everything has to be gas/propane if you wish to bbq or fire pit. We did have some issues with the water, it was smelly. We even bleached our tank overnight thinking it was our tank, and we even have double filters and have never experienced like it before but it was actually their water. Overall it was nice experience not a whole lot of action or activity for families with children.

I am not sure why there are only a few reviews on this place. It's our first time here and not our last. This place is gorgeous. We had a spot facing the beautiful landscaped grass and pond that had no buildouts. That was fine with us. Driving into this place lowered our blood pressure immediately. Registration was easy and the staff were welcoming. I walked the entire area and they allow not just Class A's but all kinds of RV's. They must have rules on cleanliness because there was no clutter around each spot. They open May 1 to October. Close to Meijer and a lot of restaurants. Can't wait to come back!

We had too high of expectations for this place - this contributed to only three stars. I would sum it up by saying- Good thing for this place that there is limited competition around Traverse City. Resort is about 20 minutes to town - and there is a lot to do in Traverse City.
The good - nice club houses and gym. Staff and Owners are friendly - but lots of cliques and "drama" for such a small place. Easy access to sites and well spaced . The ponds look great with water features that light at night.
The bad - pool is very small, not a Resort type pool, no swimming laps, but can walk around and get wet. The one tennis court was re-lined to be used for tennis or pickle ball - not what you would expect at a high end Resort. We were told that there is no money for capital improvements. But if you do not care about the pool, tennis or pickleball then it doesn't matter.
The Ugly - Well water smells bad. I thought we had a black tank issue until we figured out it was the well water. Power pedestal tripped 50A breaker when running air conditioners and appliances together. Could be a sign of aging park not set up for newer all electric coaches. Landscaping is hit or miss - some owner lots look great but the majority of the park has no irrigation and dead grass. It takes the one man crew days to complete yard work each week - hate listening to mowers, blowers and Weedwhacker's for days each week instead of having a gardening staff come in and get done in a day. Not a dog friendly resort but they are dog tolerant with some common areas and a dog park - but no dog trash stations. They have a Policy against aggressive breeds but not enforced as we have seen what looks to be pit bulls (of course they are a terrier ha ha).
Lots of spaces for sale that may indicate an aging park. With prices on the decline. Was told of ongoing legal issues between some owners and management- this would make one think twice before buying a lot. The Rental sites are pricey for what you get. We just expected "nicer" for the $$$$.
