Akron Civic Theatre announces postponed, canceled shows

In response to Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine’s order to limit all gatherings of more than 100 people, the Akron Civic Theatre has announced the list of shows that will be affected through the end of April.

Events that are postponed and will be rescheduled where possible:

• Ballet Excel Ohio’s The Snow Queen (March 14-15).

• Lights Out: The Frankie Valli Tribute (March 20).

• Who’s Bad: The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience (March 21).

• Herman’s Hermits featuring Peter Noone (March 22).

• The Red Hot Chili Pipers (March 24).

• Brit Floyd (March 27).

• Ambrosia and John Ford Coley (March 28).

• YEPAW’S SoulCappella (March 29).

• Master Chef Jr. (April 1).

• Clint Black (April 2).

• Bruce in the USA (April 3).

• Spirits of the Civic - Wild Oscar’s Night (Civic gala) (April 4).

• Almost Queen (April 11).

• Brian Culbertson: The XX Tour (April 17).

• Chris Perondi’s Stunt Dogs (April 18).

• Alice Goes to Oz – The Ballet (April 19).

• Candid Camera LOL Tour (April 23).

The following shows have been canceled:

• Sober Seventeenth (March 17).

• The United States Army Field Band Jazz Ambassadors (April 6).

The Civic statement said that all ticket holders for affected events will be contacted directly and any rescheduled shows will honor existing tickets.
