Rhian Sugden is now counting down to the weeks until her first child is born.

Over the weekend, the model hosted a baby shower, but this celebration was different from most. In a break from the traditional baby shower celebrations, Rhian’s baby shower had a drag queen theme.

The 37-year-old hosted the glamourous even at The Ivy in Manchester, and guests enjoyed an afternoon tea and entertainment from drag queens Chanel Dior and Destiny Dyson.

Sharing a photo of herself with Chanel and Destiny, Rhian wrote: “Everyone books Drag Queens for their babyshower right? 😂🙌🏽

“The best day celebrating Baby Mellor with my favourite humans… feeling very lucky and happy to be lay down right about now.

“Thank you so much @chaneldiorqueen @iamdestinydyson”

Guests at the lavish event were treated to cakes and cocktails as they celebrated Rhian’s pregnancy.

Rhian and her Coronation Street star husband, Oliver Mellor, previously revealed that they underwent eight gruelling rounds of IVF to conceive. Now, the couple are preparing to welcome their baby boy, who is due to be born in early May.
