CAMPING & CABINS: Camping accommodations<br />
are available year-round at <strong>Clear</strong> <strong>Lake</strong> <strong>State</strong><br />
<strong>Park</strong>. Reservations are recommended mid-May<br />
through mid-September. Up to 8 people may<br />
occupy a campsite.<br />
There are 8 cabins available; each can<br />
accommodate up to 6 people. Cabins offer fire<br />
rings, picnic tables and barbecues. Showers<br />
and restrooms are nearby. No tents are allowed<br />
on cabin sites. Check-in time is 2 p.m. Checkout<br />
is noon.<br />
GROUP CAMPS: Two group camp sites can<br />
accommodate up to 40 people each. Located along<br />
Cole Creek, they offer picnic tables, food lockers,<br />
fire rings and barbecue facilities. See CAMPING<br />
RESERVATIONS at the bottom of the page for<br />
contact information.<br />
DAY USE: Hiking, picnicking, fishing, swimming and<br />
boating facilities are available for day use. Dogs,<br />
bicycles, vehicles and smoking are<br />
prohibited on hiking trails. Bicycles are allowed<br />
on paved roads. Helmets are required for children<br />
under 18 years old.<br />
CAMPFIRES are permitted only in facilities<br />
provided for this purpose. Portable stoves<br />
are allowed in picnic areas. Wood gathering<br />
is prohibited in all state parks. Firewood is<br />
available for sale at the park entrance or at the<br />
camp host site.<br />
NOISE: Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Music and<br />
conversation should not be heard outside of your<br />
campsite and must be discontinued after 10 p.m.<br />
Generators may only be operated between<br />
10 a.m. and 8 p.m.<br />
VEHICLES: All vehicle travel is confined to paved<br />
roads and parking areas. The speed limit is 15<br />
mph. All motor vehicles must be parked on paved<br />
parking spurs in campgrounds or designated<br />
parking areas. Transporting passengers in the rear<br />
of a pickup truck is illegal unless they are seated<br />
in a rear passenger seat with seat belts in use.<br />
DOGS must be kept on a leash no longer than six<br />
feet and under control at all times. They must be<br />
confined to a vehicle or tent at night and must not<br />
be left unattended at any time. PLEASE pick up<br />
after your dog!<br />
TRASH AND RECYCLING: Dispose of trash in<br />
designated bins, and recycle items in the blue<br />
plastic receptacles located throughout the park.<br />
Blue plastic bags for recycled items are available<br />
at the park entrance.<br />
BOATING: Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) are<br />
required for all passengers on board. Children<br />
under 12 are required to wear a PFD at all times.<br />
Riding in a boat while it is being towed is illegal<br />
unless the boat is being launched. Bow riding is<br />
dangerous and is prohibited by state law.<br />
RESERVATIONS: Site-specific reservations may<br />
be made between April 1 and September 30 for<br />
family campsites and cabins. Reservations can<br />
be made up to seven months and no less than 48<br />
hours in advance. See CAMPING RESERVATIONS<br />
at the bottom of the page for contact information.<br />
ACCESSIBILITY: Accessible campsites are located<br />
in the Kelsey Creek campground (campsites 38,<br />
50, 65, 86 and 89) and the Cole Creek campground<br />
(campsites 6 and 21). Two cabins are also<br />
accessible. Accessible restrooms with showers are<br />
located at Kelsey Creek campground, Cole Creek<br />
campground, near the cabins and in the boat<br />
launch area.<br />
The trail behind the cabins and the trail on<br />
Old Kelsey Creek are accessible. The swim beach<br />
is accessible as well. Accessibility is continually<br />
