  • After I’ve applied to Google for Nonprofits, how long will I need to wait before I am approved?

If you have already registered with the local TechSoup partner for your country (for organizations outside the US) and applied to Google for Nonprofits, your Google for Nonprofits application and product enrollment request should be reviewed within a few days. • I am a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization with charity status through a group exemption provided by a parent organization, am I eligible to enroll in Google for Nonprofits?

If your organization has charity status through a group exemption provided by a parent organization, you may still be eligible for the Google for Nonprofits program. You must be a separate branch covered through a group exemption and Google must be able to validate from public documents that your organization is covered by a qualified parent organization through a group exemption.

To apply, please go to the Google for Nonprofits application page and enter your parent organization’s EIN number. If there are other Google for Nonprofits members registered with the same EIN, you will be prompted to create a new application. Please do not request ownership of these applications. Instead, click 'Create New Application' and complete the application form. Be sure to enter your own organization's information and not the parent organization’s. See here for additional information about applying under a group exemption.

Applications to the Google for Nonprofits program or any of the products available through the program may be rejected if the application is submitted incorrectly or the organization applying fails to meet the program's eligibility requirements. The information here can help you understand why your application was rejected and what you can do to fix it.
