What you need to know before you get started

Before requesting a Google for Nonprofits account, find out if your organization is eligible, what you’ll need for verification, and what to expect.

Eligibility guidelines

To be eligible for a Google for Nonprofits account, an organization must be registered as a charitable organization and meet the full eligibility requirements in its country.

All organizations must also be verified as a nonprofit organization by Google for Nonprofits' validation partner Goodstack. Learn more about getting verified by Goodstack.

Your organization is not eligible for Google for Nonprofits if it is:

  • A governmental entity or organization
  • A hospital or health care organization (charitable arms or foundations associated with healthcare organizations are eligible).
